The Geotab IOX-DJ connects the GO device to the DICKEY-john Control Point control system for salting and sanding monitoring on snow equipment vehicles. Once connected, the IOX expander provides distances, time, and amount of granular and liquid materials being spread during winter storm events. The IOX-DJ offers full integration with MyGeotab, which allows the data captured by the IOX to be used for exception creation and report generation.
Who Should Use This
The IOX-DJ was created primarily for snow equipment vehicles that use the DICKEY-john Control Point control system.
Features & Benefits
- View on a map which roads have been salted or sanded or had other material applied
- View areas on a map where blasting occurred
- Track distance, quantity, and time spent sanding, salting, blasting, or applying other materials.
- Compare application rates to ensure some drivers are not over or under applying material
IOX (Input / Output Expanders)
IOX (Input / Output Expanders) plug directly into the GO device and are used to extend the GO device to peripherals in your vehicle. Leveraging the CAN networks that run on the GO device, IOXs can be daisy-chained together to add multiple peripherals to the GO device. This adds flexibility to your implementation, even after installation, and means the Geotab solution can continue to grow with your fleet.
